A family hike to Partschins waterfall

Wonderfully refreshing!

Do you fancy an awe-inspiring, spectacular hike with your kids?

We recommend a tour to Partschins waterfall – one of the most beautiful in South Tyrol. Our hotel, which is ideal for mountain biking holidays in the Alps, is located close to Partschins, where you can begin your hike. From the village centre, follow the old Partschinser Waalweg (irrigation channel) and the Trail of Legends with its prehistoric cup-marked stones. From a viewing platform slightly above a guesthouse at 1,075 metres above sea level, you’ll enjoy a unique view of the 100-metre-high waterfall. The entire route is around nine kilometres long and covers an elevation difference of 600 metres. The walk takes around three hours in total. Please note that the path is not suitable for pushchairs as the ground is quite rough. The hike is a real highlight for children, as the fine spray makes the air pleasantly cool, and when it’s sunny – with a little luck – rainbows form in the water droplets.
